Hunter Biden fires back on ‘Comical’ Donald Trump Jr. on ‘Kimmel’

ABCJimmy Kimmel took a break from roasting his most despised presidential descendants on Thursday to welcome the current president’s son for friendly, personable, and occasionally hilarious chat on his late-night show. Hunter Biden, who had weathered the onslaught of attacks before, during, and after the 2020 election and somehow managed to come out stronger, was personally dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live this week for his insightful new memoir, Beautiful Things to advertise. “You know how Donald Trump used to ask where Hunter is? “Kimmel asked in his opening monologue.” Well, he’s here in our building. It turns out he’s been here the whole time. “After introducing Biden as” probably the most famous board member of a Ukrainian energy company of all time, “he said Host to him: “After reading this book, I am impressed that you are alive.” “Yes, it was a trip, but thank God I made it,” replied Biden. When Kimmel joked that that The book may have accidentally taught him how to find and smoke crack, added Biden, “I hope that wasn’t the message you took from the book. It’s not a how-to, it’s a please-don” t manual. “Kimmel clarified that, unlike the president’s son, he had never smoked crack and said,” I feel like I understand now. And I found it particularly interesting when you wrote about that what happens w hen you use it for the first time, it is something that you keep track of for the rest of the time you use it. It’s never what it was the first time. “Biden stated that he wanted to write his book to” humanize people suffering from addiction. ” But the story also serves to humanize itself, considering how Trump and other Republicans have turned him into some kind of evil caricature in recent years. One of those Republicans was Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who Kimmel found was closer to Joe Biden when they served together in the Senate. “When you talk about Lindsey Graham attacking you on TV, he was seen as a family friend, he was your father’s friend,” said Kimmel, “and how strange it is to see someone do that. “Most of all, it’s sad,” Biden said with a sigh, referring to his father’s fellow senators as “uncles,” whether they were Republicans or Democrats. “Politics has gotten so toxic,” he added. “And I think what I hope my father can bring back is his sincere desire to get some of that toxicity down. I had great respect for Senator Graham. And it’s just sad to see how he decided not only to attack me, but to move closer to politics. “Later, Kimmel asked Biden if it was driving him” crazy “when he heard someone like Donald Trump Jr. say that the only reason he succeeded is because he was” a Biden “and” because of his last name ” is. “It’s incredibly funny,” Biden agreed. “That gets to the point.” But when he tried to brush it off by saying he wasn’t trying “to spend too much time thinking about it,” Kimmel poked him and said, “Yeah, I think they are all the time about it. “Urged when asked if he has ever met Donald Trump Jr., Biden bizarrely replied,” Not that I know of, “adding,” but I’ve been to some pretty rough places. “Read more at The Daily Beast Daily Top Stories In Your Inbox.
