The plans for the largest solid wood office building in the USA in Newark, New Jersey were announced by developers Lotus Equity Group and Michael Green Architecture.

Part of the Riverfront Square redevelopment project that includes 11.8 acres of mixed-use buildings by TEN Arquitectos, Architecture and Urban Development Practice (PAU), architects and planners from Minno & Wasko, and Michael Green Architecture and Parkland designed by James Corner Field Operations – The Riverfront Square office building will contain up to 500,000 square feet of Class A office space in its state-of-the-art truss system.

Wood was chosen for its environmental benefits and enables the project to lower its carbon footprint and reduce emissions from the construction process.
