Morrisons has launched a new app that replaces its old loyalty card.
The supermarket with a Newark store informed customers of the changes in March and has now announced what customers can expect from the loyalty offer – My Morrisons: Make Good Things Happen.
The new system offers instant cash instead of points, while the new app gives customers access to services such as food boxes and the Morrisons Cafe takeaway menu.

Customers no longer have to save their points or wait for vouchers.
Instead, savings are reported in pounds and can be spent instantly.
The reward-based program is accompanied by an app that replaces carrying a plastic card. Customers who prefer a physical card can still use their existing card.
The My Morrisons app also provides a home for all of Morrisons’ online services, including Morrisons.com, Food Boxes, and Morrisons Cafe Takeaway Menu.
According to Morrisons, customers can expect more features in the coming weeks, such as the basket bonus for surprises and rewards. It will also include the ability for customers to give back to the community.
The app can be downloaded and then swiped around the store to redeem rewards. Customers can register for the website online or continue to use their card for paper vouchers that are printed at checkout when they shop. Existing Morrisons Additional card users will need to update their app for the My Morrisons experience.
Customers have until August 9 to redeem unclaimed Morrisons More Fivers. You will then have 56 weeks to spend.
