Edison Properties has signed a lease with Freshii, a fast-paced casual chain founded in Canada and expanded to over 60 US locations.
The restaurant has rented the fourth retail space of 1,829s / f in Ironside Newark and is expected to open in the spring of 2021.
Freshii joins Halal Guys, SportsMed Physical Therapy and Orens Daily Roast on the building’s retail list.

Ironside Newark at 110 Edison Place is a 1907 former warehouse in downtown Newark that has been converted and restored by Edison Properties into a commercial and retail hub with more than 456,000 s / f.
The property is currently 76 percent occupied by tenants, including the North American headquarters of Mars Wrigley Confectionary, the architecture firm Ware Malcomb, the law firms Pearlman & Miranda and Robinson Miller and the new headquarters of Edison Properties.
Amenities include future outdoor restaurant seating and retail stores on park level in front of the new Mulberry Commons Park, street level retail stores along Edison Place, a two story lobby atrium, rooftop deck, dark loft-style fiber optic network, and open work areas.
